Mini Mission Work

Hey guy, how are you doing? Today I want to share my mini mission work story. It’s about August. 19. 2014 (Tuesday). The best experiences ever! So on Tuesday we had zone meeting which elders from Mukah and Sibu Jaya also there. Zone meeting started in 10.30 but I came very late like 11 o’clock. So in the zone meeting they were talked about “the investigators and members, how to increase the investigator, invited the less active or inactive members to go to church every weeks.” In the zone meeting they are played game like ‘Find something around the chapel and if they get it they should find the clue’ (I’m not really understand the game). Haha. Sister and elder Beus gave talk in front because that might be their last zone meeting. They got surprised. Sister and elder Beus is the best senior couple we have. Thank you senior couple because being such as our good friends to us. The end of the zone meeting we had took a picture in front the chapel. Elder Christensen has problem with his bike. He needed to fix it. Elder Sutherland, Starthearn, Misa’alefua and I just wait for him. Finally he made it. We got rain so hard. We need to get McDonalds as fast as probably. We were very wet after arrived in McDonalds. After McDonalds I followed elder Sutherland and Christensen to find the new investigator address. After we’ve got it we went to sister Daun house (the less active members and she already went to Manila Temple, Philipine). We were in sister Daun house like in 40 minutes. We went to the investigator house in Sungai Merah. The PI “Potential Investigator” woow!! Sound great right? We were in PI house about 10 minutes and they look like not interested because the women say “I’m sorry because we have our own church that is RC. So, we won’t convert to the other church, that it”. After that elder Sutherland say “Don’t worry sister you have an agency and also don’t be afraid with us. We’re okay”. We move to Anthony house. It’s very close with the PI house just like 3 minutes to get there by bike. We were arrived in Anthony house but he doesn’t at home. We asked his neighbor to get his phone number but they don’t have it. After that we went to Andrew house which live nearby Mega Store, Sungai Merah. Andrew is the inactive members. We teach him about Temple. We were there about 30 minutes after 5. When we get the bike, elder Christensen talked with 3 people sitting in front of the bar. Just because they are sitting there, elder Christensen introduced himself and talk about the Church. 2 boys and a women look like interested because the woman asked me a lot of thing about this church. After 30 minutes of our conversations we went to café nearby and get meals. 2 Muslim people asked us to sit nearby. He sponsored us drinks. We talked about where we come from, what is American favorite food and many more. At 7 we went to sister Acui house. I followed the Chinese elders to teach Winnie about The Book of Mormon. Elder Sutherland and Christensen left at 8. After 30 minute their gone we just had done our lesson with Winnie. Sister Lina gave me vegetables. After we (Elder Baer, South and I) left their house we need to get sister Beus house but it was late. They already finish their lesson at 8.45. So, I’m waiting for brother Alok to get home because my parents still at hometown that day. We had a lot of fun at all day. I followed elder Christensen and Sutherland at 2-7 in the evening and followed the Chinese elders at 7 till 9 in the evening.
